Calling All Instructors: We Want to Hear from You

It’s been six months since our updated curriculum was released. Whether you’ve completed your update training or you plan to by the March 1 deadline, we have important information for you, and we want to hear from you.

Last June, an invitation was sent to all Instructors inviting them to complete a free, short online training exercise at their convenience to prepare them to teach the new curriculum. Additional invites were regularly sent out to Instructors who had not yet completed training.

If You Haven’t Completed Update Training

  • If you didn’t receive your invitation and you still plan on teaching Safe Sitter®, please contact us The deadline to complete update training is March 1. If you don’t complete update training by March 1, you will become inactive and assessed a $25 fee to re-train.
  • If you don’t plan to continue teaching, please let us know so we may update our records.

If You Have Completed Update Training

  • Have you had a chance to the teach the new curriculum? Tell us what you think! Complete our short online survey. We’re anxious to hear from you, and we want to know about your experience teaching the updated curriculum.
  • Make sure you use the new Instructor Manual when you teach. Let your Site Coordinator know how important it is that she order new manuals. The updated curriculum is very scripted, and you need to follow along with the Instructor Manual to keep pace with the slides in the new digital presentation. The digital presentation helps enhance your class by acting as a beneficial visual aid for your students.

We hope you’re enjoying the new, easy-to-use lesson plans and the streamlined organization. More importantly, we hope you still recognize it as the same quality curriculum you’ve grown to enjoy teaching.
