Safe Sitter® Instructors are part of a nationwide community of Instructors teaching young teens to be safe while home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. All Safe Sitter® Instructors are must be registered and approved by Safe Sitter, Inc. National Headquarters. In addition, they must either be a Registered Safe Sitter® Independent Instructor or affiliated with a Safe Sitter® Teaching Site or Teaching Center. Safe Sitter® Instructors can train online in about 4 hours, or they can attend a live workshop at their Teaching Site or Teaching Center.

Instructors who are not affiliated with a Safe Sitter® Teaching Site or Teaching Center can become Independent Instructors or start a Teaching Site or Teaching Center. To learn more about these teaching options, visit Get Started.
Site Coordinators who wish to train additional Instructors must register each additional Instructor with Safe Sitter, Inc. National Headquarters. Please complete an Instructor Training Registration form to register additional Instructors.
