Babysitting Curriculum for Students in Grades 6-8

Babysitting is rarely sitting with a baby! Every Safe Sitter® class contains a module where students learn to safely care for younger children. By the end of the section, students are able to:

  • Describe the four different age groups.
  • Identify the four routines that the BEST babysitter knows about.
  • Demonstrate safe child care techniques in diapering.
  • Define four rules that must be followed.
  • Explain the six Behavior Management Tips.
