Sara Ross, M.D.
A board-certified pediatrician and pediatric critical care attending, Sara Ross, M.D. is a Pediatric Intensive Care physician with Floating Children’s Hospital – Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. Ross received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and did her residency training and fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She was an attending physician at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore for seven years before moving to Boston.
In addition to her focus on patient care, Dr. Ross has made education a priority. Both as a resident and as a fellow she was nominated by Pediatric residents to receive the Award for Teaching Excellence at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. At The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Dr. Ross became Associate Director of the Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program in 2009, advancing to Program Director in 2010. Shortly thereafter she was promoted to Pediatric Residency Director supervising, advising, and educating 86 residents and 4 chief residents, and leading the department through one of the most successful recruitment seasons ever.
Dr. Ross and her husband have four young children and live in Boston, Massachusetts.
