We offer three options for individuals and organizations to partner with Safe Sitter® to teach young teens the skills they need to stay home alone safely, watch younger siblings, or start babysitting. Compare the three options in the chart below:

Insurance RequirementsStudent class location must be in a safe, public place and maintain a minimum of $500,000 of general liability coverage. Requirements to Maintain Provider StatusProvider must teach at least one class per year.Provider must have at least one active Instructor and teach at least 1 class per year.

Teaching Sites with five or more Instructors are automatically upgraded to a Teaching Center.
Provider must have at least five active Instructors and teach at least 1 class per year.

Teaching Centers with less than five Instructors become Teaching Sites and can still offer Safe Sitter® programming.
