Instructions for Using Canva Templates

Welcome to our Canva templates page! Follow the steps below to access and customize marketing materials for your programs.

Section 1: Save Images for Marketing Materials

  1. Browse the Images section to view available visuals for your marketing needs.
  2. Click on the image to open it in a new window.
  3. Right-click on the image and select Save image as.
  4. Once saved, upload the images to Canva by following these steps:
    • Log in to your Canva account.
    • Click on the Uploads tab on the left sidebar.
    • Drag and drop the image file or click Upload files to select it from your device.
  5. The uploaded image will now be available in your Canva library for use in templates.

Key points about a free Canva Account:

With a free Canva account, you can access most design tools, templates, and a library of free images.

If you work for a non-profit organization, you may be eligible for special access to Canva Pro features through Canva for Nonprofits.

How to sign up for a free Canva account:
  1. Go to the Canva website.
  2. Click “Sign up”.
  3. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  4. Click “Create your account”.

Section 2: Access Marketing Materials

  1. Browse through the Marketing Materials section to find the collateral you need. Each piece of marketing material includes:
    • An example image to show how the final piece will look.
    • Links to Canva templates for each program.
  2. To use a template:
    • Click on the link for the specific program template you need.
    • The template will open in Canva.
    • Click the Use Template button to save it to your account.
  3. Once saved, you can edit the text, images, and design elements as needed.
