Safety Skills: Learn the three rules for staying safe — including how to practice good safety habits, share your whereabouts with a trusted adult, and use the Safety Signal if you ever feel unsafe on the job.

Caring for Children: Learn about the four age groups and the different care each one needs. You’ll master the B-E-S-T routines and learn diaper changing techniques.

Managing Behavior: Learn six behavior management tips for handling difficult behavior, including when to handle a situation yourself, when to call a back-up adult, and when to call 9-1-1.

Injuries & Illnesses: Learn how to assess injuries and illnesses based on seriousness and urgency, prevent injuries, and how to use the Safe Sitter® First Aid Chart to respond to common injuries — safely and accurately.
