Earlier this year, we learned about a former Safe Sitter® student who used her training in an emergency. A piece of hard candy in her mouth had slid into her airway, blocking it, and causing the student to choke. The student used the techniques she learned in class to dislodge the candy.
In class, students learn that Safe Sitter® saves lives. Each Provider’s commitment to the health, safety, and wellness of students and the children they care for makes a difference. Thank you for all that you do!
